Quick Apply Full-time 2 days ago Full Job Description Hamblin Pools, family owned and operated for 4 generations, is looking for dependable full-time individuals for our masonry team.
We specialize in the construction and renovation of vinyl liner inground and aboveground swimming pools and spas.
We are in need of a team member:
Who enjoys working outdoors, year-round, in a construction environment.
Works well with others in a supportive team environment, able to read the construction schedule and manage their time and activities.
NYS Driver's License Required, CDL is a plus, but not a must Our crews work outdoors (year-round) throughout the Finger lakes and surrounding areas.
Typically, 40
hours per week working Monday-Saturday.
Experience in the following is a PLUS:
Able to pull a trailer and deliver construction equipment and materials to various job sites.
SKID STEER and MINI-EXCAVATOR operators able to perform rough and finish grading Use a transit The Concrete Finisher will work on commercial, and residential projects including curb, sidewalk, gutter, ramps and other flatwork as needed.
Prepare, align and set horizontal concrete forms.
Use saws to cut expansion joints or remove concrete.
Finish concrete which may include dye, color, stamp or various other types of finish.
Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete such as curbs, sidewalks, pads and ramps using a variety of hand and power tools.
Understand concrete measurements.
Ability to use all tools required by concrete finishers.
Ability to work weekends as needed which may require working more than 40 hours.
Work in varying weather conditions and work environments including dusty, wet, loud noises, etc.
Keep work site areas and company vehicle clean and orderly, informing management of any safety concerns or vehicle or site problems.
Comply with all standard policies, procedures and safety requirements.
